10月12日，英国林肯大学教授Ian Barnes、商学院教学负责人Debbie 及国际办公室主任Peng 即将到访我校留服中心。Ian Barnes教授将为我们国际项目学生带来一场名为《川普的关税战争》的经济学讲座，请同学们积极参加，具体安排如下：

【主题】川普的关税战争（Mr Trump’s Tariff War）

【摘要】

·   The global trading system is complex.

·    Trade wars show little benefit to anyone.

·    But it does mean that countries need to show a balance ofresponsibility to their trading partners

·    All sides guilty of not doing this but we have to recognise thatthis is particularly damaging to the global supply chain

·    US and EU duties are different even on the same product.

·    EU duty on car imports from the US is 10%

·    US duty on imports from the EU is only 2.5%

·    US imposes 14% duty on train carriages

·    EU charges 1.7% on train carriages from the US

Director of External Relations - University of Lincoln（英国林肯大学全球高校合作事务主任）

Ian Barnes教授作为一名专业的、德高望重的经济学教授、博士、博士生导师，同时担任欧盟经济委员会高级顾问一职，对于时下全球经济及欧洲经济有着独到的理解和观点，曾发表过多篇著名的经济学论文。此外，巴恩斯教授凭借着对中国的喜爱成为一名中国通。巴恩斯教授作为欧盟优秀经济学家，曾受欧盟经济委员会推荐作为访问学者前往中国清华大学访问交流。
